Bessie Frías is a healthcare corporate associate with extensive experience in advising private equity firms, dental practices, behavioral health organizations, physician groups, home health and hospice care, and 501(c)(3) clients on healthcare compliance, risk management, and strategic transactions.
She also helps Medical Spa clients navigate healthcare regulations, including licensure requirements. Bessie holds a deep commitment to improving the healthcare system by promoting health equity through equal access to care. She is particularly passionate about women’s health issues and looks forward to partnering with clients doing work in this space. Prior to joining Bochner, Bessie was part of a top-rated healthcare practice in which she advised on healthcare regulatory matters for private equity and M&A transactions including contract review for CPOM, anti-fraud, STARK law, and HIPAA compliance. Bessie is also well versed in friendly PC model arrangements and has aided various clients in drafting management services agreements, among other things. Bessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
