Rimpei Kawaji is an International Associate at Bochner PLLC. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital investments, corporate governance matters, and complex commercial disputes.
Before joining Bochner, Rimpei practiced at TMI Associates, one of Japan’s leading law firms, where he advised private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, financial institutions, strategic investors, and domestic and international companies on complex M&A transactions, strategic investments, and other corporate matters across a wide range of industries.
Rimpei has experience advising clients throughout the lifecycle of complex transactions, including transaction structuring, legal due diligence, the negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements, acquisition financing, and corporate governance matters. He has also represented companies and senior management in shareholder litigation and other complex disputes arising from significant M&A transactions.
