Allen Secrease focuses on a broad range of intellectual property, corporate, and commercial matters. 

As a law clerk in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, he applies the skills and practical experience gained from working with innovative technology companies to support clients across diverse industries. He is well versed in a variety of technologies and continues to deepen his expertise in intellectual property strategy, patent and trademark prosecution, and corporate and commercial transactions.

During law school, Allen gained extensive experience in corporate and commercial transactions. He assisted in mergers and acquisitions and drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a variety of agreements, including nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), consulting services agreements (CSAs), platform service agreements (PSAs), and master service agreements (MSAs) while interning at Paige.AI, an artificial intelligence software company, and Fireblocks, a cryptocurrency software company. These experiences strengthened his understanding of emerging technologies, corporate structures, and transactional work.

Allen also developed his patent and trademark knowledge while serving as a managing student attorney on Brooklyn Law School’s Patent and Trademark Team. In that role, he provided clients with guidance in patent and trademark prosecution and advised startups on Intellectual Property strategy, helping them build and manage their intellectual property portfolios to support company formation and growth.
